Turmeric and Blood Pressure
Blood Pressure
There are many reasons why a person develops high blood pressure. Some of the most common factors promoting high blood pressure are stress, obesity, smoking, alcohol and lack of exercise. Family history also plays a role.
Hypertension (high blood pressure) should not be ignored. Many times, high blood pressure which remains untreated can lead to stroke, kidney disease and even heart attacks. The symptoms are unfortunately usually difficult to detect, which makes hypertension very dangerous. Many patients learn, for example only from their high blood pressure after being diagnosed with a kidney disease.

Turmeric for Blood Pressure
1 in every 3 Americans (75 million in total) are reported to have high blood pressure and only just over half of these people (54%) have their condition under control. Fortunately, high blood pressure can often be corrected naturally without resorting to medication, with changes in lifestyle and the use of natural remedies.
Two of the first areas to look to correct high blood pressure are diet and physical activity (exercise). Trans fats (which clog the arteries), processed meats and junk food among others. These foods are found in the standard diet of most people, which often leads to all kinds of health problems including hypertension and other cardiovascular problems.
